Sri Adi Shankaracharya, the seer who pioneered renaissance of Hiduism, has authored numerous texts and hymns throwing light on the teachings of Vedanta. Composed by him, Sadhana Panchakam consists of five verses of forty steps leading you towards salvation. Sadhana means practice and Panchkam a set of five verses, hence the title Sadhana Panchakam. He espouses these forty steps as a means to attain spiritual as well as life goals that help one lead a balanced life.
